Just
about every hotel room in Argentina has something
you don't see in most American hotels. Right there next
to every toilet, you will find his little European sister,
the bidet. I say 'sister' because it is smaller and I've
always assumed that it was just for women and their intimate
cleansing needs. But now that I think about it maybe it's
for guys too? I never felt the urge to try it myself and
would feel silly asking someone if I was supposed to.
But this one particular hotel in Calafate was apparently
short on space in the bathroom. Their attempt to economize
on space looked a little scary. I wasn't about to sit
down on the thing. The toilet looked like it was adapted
with with some extra plumbing. But I actually think it
was a device placed there by extraterrestrials. While
you are otherwise occupied they do their testing on you.
They don't have have to bother taking you all the way
to their spaceship and they avoid all the bad P.R. about
alien abductions. |
